MANUALS & PARTS LISTS
The original intention was that all our pdf files would be able to be purchased on-line for immediate download. Initial discussions with potential users made it clear that we were also going to have to make the files available on cds for those people who were not happy purchasing in this way (the files can be quite large and some people do still not have the benefit of broadband internet access). Putting a single file on one cd does not make the best use of the media and is not really cost effective, also the idea of including the manual and parts list for one particular vehicle on a cd was not always as easy as may sound, because of the way Rootes combined different models into manuals and parts list documents.
The compromise has been to produce a cd covering each of the major ranges of vehicle, and we also offer the possibility of having your own custom cd burned (see the CDs page).
